SECURITY RESTORED AT FORT TOTTEN FRONT GATE!
As of June 15, Security at the front gate of Fort Totten has been restored!

Presently the front gate will be manned by “light duty” NYC Firemen until a more permanent security company can be put into place. We at The Friends of Fort Totten Parks are pleased to have been part of this movement to restore safety to the fort and the community.

The Friends of Fort Totten Parks would also like to recognize and thank all who participated in the effort to restore security to the front gate . A special thanks to Senator Frank Padavan , Boro President Helen Marshal , CB 11 President Jerry Iannece , Senator Toby Stavisky, Assemblywoman Ann Carrozza, and the combined efforts of CB 7 ,CB 11 and the BTCA.
